Platform Development Lead

Our client is a well-established and reputable investment firm with offices in Dubai. They are currently looking to hire a Platform Development Lead with previous experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will need to be working on-site from Dubai.

As a Platform Development Lead, your primary responsibility will be to enhance our proprietary trading platform and ensure its smooth integration with various other trading platforms. You should have a proven track record in programming and platform development, and a deep understanding of trading platforms like MT4 and MT5.

In this role, you will be expected to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex platform enhancements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.

This is a leadership role, requiring clear communication and the ability to collaborate with a team of professionals.

• Platform Enhancement: Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex enhancements to our proprietary trading platform.
• Integration with Other Platforms: Ensure the smooth integration of our trading platform with various other trading platforms.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise in the functioning of the platform, and devise efficient solutions.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, demonstrating excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• MT4/MT5 Proficiency: At least 5 years of experience in an MT4 and/or MT5 development role is required. You should have a deep understanding of these platforms and the technical skills to work with them effectively.
• Experience with Other Trading Platforms: Experience with any other trading platforms is a big plus. The more platforms you are familiar with, the more valuable you will be to our team.
• Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of a variety of computer languages will be needed in order to effectively function as a platform developer. Experience with C# programming language is a big plus and proficiency in other programming languages will be considered favourably.
• Web and Mobile Software Development Experience: Knowledge and experience in web and mobile software development are crucial as our platform extends beyond traditional desktop environments.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team of professionals are crucial.
