Job Description

On behalf of our client, a dynamic investment firm based in Limassol, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Officer to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the firm’s IT infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations and data security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support both hardware and software needs, manage system upgrades, and troubleshoot technical issues. Additionally, you will assist in implementing IT policies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and support the firm’s growth. Your primary goal will be to ensure a secure, stable, and effective technology environment across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact (L1/L2) for IT and VoIP-related support, ensuring timely resolution of telephony, software, and hardware issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain VoIP systems, including user provisioning, call routing, IVR setup, SIP trunking, voicemail, and integration with helpdesk/CRM tools
  • Set up and support laptops, desktops, and VoIP-enabled devices both onsite and remotely (softphones, headsets, mobile apps, IP phones)
  • Monitor and maintain VoIP performance and call quality, resolving issues related to jitter, latency, packet loss, and network-related VoIP disruptions
  • Provide administration and technical support for Windows environments, Office 365, mobile devices, and cloud platforms, alongside VoIP solutions
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, routers), with a focus on VoIP-optimized network configurations (QoS, port forwarding, NAT traversal)
  • Liaise with VoIP vendors and telecom providers to manage services, troubleshoot escalated issues, and oversee SLAs
  • Procure, document, and manage the company’s IT and VoIP hardware/software assets
  • Assist with deployment of security tools and ensure VoIP systems are secure and compliant, including encryption, user access control, and firmware updates
  • Help define and implement IT and VoIP-related policies and procedures, in line with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field
  • Previous experience in an IT support role, with hands-on experience managing and supporting VoIP systems (e.g., 3CX, FreePBX, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, Cisco, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP), troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, call logs), and PBX management
  • Experience with network administration, particularly supporting VoIP traffic (VLANs, QoS, firewall rules)
  • Proficient in managing Apple, Windows, and Google Workspace environments
  • Familiarity with Office 365, endpoint management tools, and cloud-based services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Fluent in English
